Aim: To separate colours from skittles by using the chromatography.

Materials;

1. Petri dish
2. 5 different flavour skittles
3. water
Process:

Step 1: tack a Petri dish, and put 5 different flavour skittles, and put some water in.

Step 2: and wait like 2 minutes and the skittles will like this.













Conclusion: What have I learnt from this experiment?
I learnt the 5 colour mixed together is Flesh.
And the candy is good.

Scenario

A crime has been committed. The police have a signed cheque and a letter from the same crime scene but it seems like the handwriting is different. They have 3 suspects but not enough evidence. They need to know if the letter and the cheque were written by the same person.

How do they tell if the pens used for both of these pieces of evidence are the same?

Process:

Step 1: Tack the Chromatography paper and use felt pen draw two dots.

Step 2: Tack the Chromatography paper and use felt pen draw two dots.

Step 3:And put some water in, the water and wait for 10 minutes. 

Step 5: After 10 minutes

Conclusion: What have I learnt from this experiment?

I learned the paper can Water absorption. And the colour is like magic.

fAIM: DESIGN AN EXPERIMENT THAT TESTS THE AMOUNT OF SALT THAT MUST BE IN WATER BEFORE IT WILL NOT FREEZE WHEN LEFT OVERNIGHT IN THE FREEZER.

The Process

Task 3: Draw on a piece of A4 paper the 6 steps that you will use to test the amount of salt in water before freezing. When we are making drawings in science it needs to be labelled clearly, kept tidy and named. Once you have completed the drawing it must be photographed and uploaded to your blog.
