The summer holiday

      The summer holiday

In the holidays I played badminton and play games, I played basketball with my Uncle and my Mum and Dad, I played a game with my friend I also write 2 104 pages math book and I started when the holiday starts then I finished last week Tuesday.

I went fishing every Sunday, my Dad teaching me how to fish every time when we go fishing and one time I wait for 1 and a half hour, suddenly my fishing rod is moving and I pull the fishing rod first then I pull the fishing line up, then I saw an about 10cm fish on the ground, this was the first time I get a fish, and next week I went there again, then I got an about 15 cm long fish, I was surprised because before 5 minutes the fishing rod moved but not much, am thinking about not pull it up, but after I think is weird then I pull it up, I haven't seen anything suddenly my Mum said look there is a fish dear you, I was really surprised.

This holiday is the best holiday.

NZ Government compare and contrast paragraph

In power to the people Hurumanu, we learnt about the Maori authority system and the British setter government system.

This is compared and contrast paragraph is about those two systems.

--------- Paragraph

In NZ there were two types of governments. One was the Maori authority system, the other British setter government system.

Maori authority system:
The Maori authority system is when there were no courts, judges, police or prisons. Tapu was important for protecting people, objects and land.

British setter government system:
In contrast, the British setter government system is when there were responsible for the whole of society. There were set punishments for breaking laws.

This matters because it is important to know the history and the laws before and the different for Maori and British.

Investigating light

Investigating light

What is the fastest way to travel through the universe?
1. light

What is light speed?
2. The speed that lights travel at 300000km/sec

Define optical science?
3. Optics is the branch of physics that studies the behaviour and properties of light, including its interactions with matter and the construction of instruments that use or detect it. Optics usually describes the behaviour of visibleultraviolet, and infrared light. Because light is an electromagnetic wave, other forms of electromagnetic radiation such as X-raysmicrowaves, and radio waves exhibit similar properties.

What is fibre optics?
4. the use of thin flexible fibres of glass or other transparent solids to transmit light signals, chiefly for telecommunications or for internal inspection of the body.

Name three instruments that help us see very small objects or objects far away.

1. Telescope.
2. Magnifier glass.
3. Microscope.
