NZ Government compare and contrast paragraph

In power to the people Hurumanu, we learnt about the Maori authority system and the British setter government system.

This is compared and contrast paragraph is about those two systems.

--------- Paragraph

In NZ there were two types of governments. One was the Maori authority system, the other British setter government system.

Maori authority system:
The Maori authority system is when there were no courts, judges, police or prisons. Tapu was important for protecting people, objects and land.

British setter government system:
In contrast, the British setter government system is when there were responsible for the whole of society. There were set punishments for breaking laws.

This matters because it is important to know the history and the laws before and the different for Maori and British.
